Missions | Bounties
Missions are the bread & butter of the shinobi’s life. They make their ends meat off of these excursions through the wilderness providing protection for the wary or taking the lives of targets. Through the use of these missions the members will advance their knowledge of the world and of their self.
• Mission Breakdown
The following is a short description of the different ranks of missions typically done by shinobi.
D Rank Missions
assigned to Genin fresh from the Ninja Academy. They pose almost no risk to the ninja's life and usually consist of odd jobs like farming and babysitting work.
• Ryou: 125 per 500 words written.
• Awards: +2 stats or +40 Chak or +40 Stam
• Requirements: At least 500 words per person "Total by Team" to complete
C Rank Missions
assigned to more experienced Genin or Chūnin. They are missions anticipated to have some combat involved with the possibility of injury to the shinobi performing it. Examples are guarding people, background investigations, or capturing or suppressing wild animals.
• Ryou: 300 per 500 words written.
• Awards: +4 stats or +80 Chak or +80 Stam
• Requirements: At least 1000 words per person "Total by Team" to complete
B Rank Missions
assigned to experienced Chūnin. They are missions anticipated to involve combat with other ninja. Examples are guarding people, espionage, or killing other ninja.
• Ryou: 750 per 500 words written.
• Awards: +8 stats or +160 Chak or +160 Stam
• Requirements: At least 1500 words per person "Total by Team" to complete
A Rank Missions
assigned to Jōnin, concerning, among other things, village-or state-level matters and trends. Examples are guarding VIPs or suppressing ninja forces.This type of mission poses a high risk factor for all shinobi involved.
• Ryou: 1000 per 500 words written.
• Awards: 1Lvl AND +16 stats or +320 Chak or +320 Stam
• Requirements: At least 2000 words per person "Total by Team" to complete
S Rank Missions
assigned to experienced Jōnin,Anbu, and Hunter-Nin and concern state-level confidential matters. Examples are assassinating VIPs, and transporting highly classified documents.This type of mission poses an extremely high risk factor for shinobi. These missions are only taken during dire straights for a villages survival. This rank of mission is only permitted during times of war/To prevent one and due to this surviving one of these missions grants shinobi a great deal of respect.
• Ryou: 1250 per 500 words written.
• Awards: 2Lvls AND +32 stats or +640 Chak or +640 Stam
• Requirements: At least 3000 words per person "Total by Team" to complete
~ Note: ANBU & other village protection level classes are permitted to partake in A+ level missions outside of times of war.
• Mission Types
This is a general selection of the kinds of missions done by shinobi.
• Mission Failure
When you fail a mission you are given no ryou and all gains are cut in half. If the mission is to give you a level up you retain that level up seeing as knowledge is still gained through the process.
Note: Upon "completing" a mission, a period of 24 hours must pass before the rewards can be claimed. During this time, the mission can be interrupted at any point during the thread's events. Justification to do so is, of course, required.
Note 2: Outside of story events, a shinobi must adhere to missions suitable for their rank.
• Kage's Role
The Kage's role is to supply the shinobi of their village with missions. They are to keep an up-to-date list of missions in a thread in their respective country where shinobi are to claim them before completing them.
• Team Role
Missions are done in teams (Some cases alone) And these teams often consists of 4 or more party members, that includes the Team leader and its members. In case of Normal missions, the team leader is often a Jounin and a Sensei of the team. Doing missions as a team is great, but being on a Team in general have great perks to it [ Main Team " Jounin + 3 Genin " or " Jounin + 3 Chuunins ".
SBP Exchange: Members on the team can give their SBP to another [Must be brought to the attention of Athrun or Paper]
Bonus: Mission Bonuses [Ryou] Are x3 each [Each person on the team gets x3 Ryou]
Assist: Even in closed threads, Someone on your actual team can enter with good reasons to assist in DM's
